We all can think of beautiful reception areas in clinical settings, decorated with fine art, accessories & furnishings- indicating that the practitioner does intend to create a certain ambience to tastefully appeal to our senses -as well as treat our clinical condition. We usually spend a small fraction of our time in these welcoming areas. Once we enter the Clinical area, there is usually a total lack of decoration on that 5th Wall. the ceiling, where much of the our attention will be directed for sometimes hours at a time. Some clinicians will pin or tape posters, pictures or motivational verses overhead to entertain or distract us.

In an attempt to bring tasteful art to the ceilings in these clinical areas, Vickie Kasson, a retired registered nurse with a B.S in Health Arts set about searching for accessories or art works that lend themselves specifically to ceilings in medical/dental settings.

Looking-Up Ceiling Art, Inc. was created to help bring therapeutic, tasteful, affordable, artistic diversions to commercial office building ceilings strictly for the well being of patients! Mobiles have the ability to bring nature, color, movement & distraction into the patients limited viewing area, while not interfering with the work in progress.
